Terms of Service

By accessing or using payloadly(the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

payloadly provides browser-based tools for converting, formatting, and validating common data formats, along with an optional paid REST API that offers the same functionality programmatically. The browser tools run entirely on your device and are provided free of charge.

The browser tools are free to use without an account. The API may be used anonymously up to 25 requests per day; beyond that, a paid subscription and API key are required. We may adjust these limits to protect the reliability of the Service.

Paid API access requires an account, created through a passwordless email sign-in link. You are responsible for keeping your API key and email account secure, and for all activity that occurs under your API key.

API subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. You authorize us to charge your payment method for each billing cycle until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account's billing portal; cancellation stops future charges, and access continues until the end of the current billing period. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

You agree not to:

• use the Service to violate any law or infringe others' rights;
• attempt to disrupt, overload, or circumvent rate limits or security of the Service;
• resell or redistribute the API in a way that reproduces the Service as a competing product;
• use automated means to abuse the free tier.

The Service, including its software, design, and content, is owned by payloadly and its licensors. These terms do not grant you any right to our trademarks or branding. Data you process through the tools remains yours.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that conversions will be suitable for every use case. Always verify results before relying on them in production.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, payloadly will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We may modify or discontinue features, and may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
